Logan Health Whitefish is looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to join their Special Care Unit (SCU) team on night shift!

Logan Health Whitefish is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the scenic ski resort town of Whitefish, Montana. We are in the heart of the Flathead Valley, which offers an endless array of outdoor recreation, skiing, hiking and biking trails, whitewater rafting, and the breathtaking Glacier National Park. About our Special Care Unit (SCU):

Our unit is a focused 4-bed unit providing intensive, specialized care for adult patients who require more monitoring and support than a general medical or surgical floor, but who do not need ICU-level care. We care for patients recovering after surgery, those needing cardiac monitoring or advanced drips like insulin or alcohol withdrawal management, and occasionally pediatric post-op patients. Staffed by a dedicated team of nurses, the SCU combines teamwork and autonomy to ensure the best outcomes through vigilant, detailed care.

** What you'll need to have:
*** Current Montana RN license
** or
* * a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.  BSN degree preferred.
* Critical Care experience is preferred.
* Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position preferred.
* Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
* Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS, ACLS certification
* AHA PALS (within 6 months of hire)

** Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

* Schedule:

** Full-time, 36 hours per week. 12-hour Night Shifts on variable days, including weekend and holiday rotation.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
