Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for creating sales, establishing and maintaining both client and referral relationships, curating a steady pipeline of active opportunities, and consistently hitting the established monthly sales quota. This is NOT an entry level position and the candidate will have a proven track record of outside (not inside) sales. Target clients are UHNWI in the built/construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sell: generate revenue through new business; our team will handle engineering, project management, installation, programming, and service.
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships (architects, GCs, owners reps, interior designers, other trades).
  • Build and manage client relationships with UHNWI and nurture referrals.
  • Achieve annual quota: $1M+ per year (target $1.5M/year in 2 years); proven track record required.
  • Pipeline management: use CRM to enter leads, opportunities, activities; keep updated with probability, close date, and next steps.
  • Define Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure proposals align with client needs.
Your Location
  • 22 Lupfer Ave. Whitefish, MT
  • This role is in-person (not remote or hybrid)
  • You’ll need to live in the area to network, meet with referral partners, and prospective clients.

Your Contribution to Eyehear
  • Sell: you will generate revenue; other team members handle related execution.
  • Referral relationships: establish and maintain consistent sources of project referrals.
  • Client relationships: establish and maintain revenue-generating relationships with UHNWI.
  • Annual quota: $1M+; $1.5M/year target in 2 years.
  • Pipeline management: use CRM to track leads, opportunities, activities, probabilities, and next steps.
  • Scope alignment: ensure proposals address client needs.
Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience (a plus!)

+3 years sales experience to UHNWI in the built/construction environment.

  • Ideal knowledge: selling Audio & Video (A/V), networking, Lutron lighting & shading, Control4 (C4), Savant, Crestron, high-end home cinema and audio.
  • Acceptable knowledge: selling to the built environment, elite levels of kitchens, landscape architecture, pools, wine rooms, architectural finishes, lighting fixtures, lighting design.
Experience History
  • Ideally: residential or commercial technology integration firm
  • Acceptable:
    Owners Rep, Architectural Rep, Outside Sales Rep for premium/elite brand of architectural products, Business Development for trades (electrical, pools, kitchens, etc.)
Outside Sales Skills
  • Not retail – you build your own book of business.
Eyehear’s Offerings to You
