Network & Security Administrator

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Network & Security Administrator opening! This temporary position is expected to last about 3 months. Hours are 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Pay is $26.73/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and support a logical LAN/WAN/WLAN network, cybersecurity, and other IT infrastructure.
• Maintain multi-vendor network and security equipment.
• Provide network support, manage cybersecurity, and identify solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation including network and cybersecurity diagrams.
• Proactively monitor networks and cybersecurity alerts to detect/resolve threats.
• Assist in executing campus wide IT security awareness programs.
• Perform physical cabling including terminating, testing, labeling and dressing Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6).
• Mount switches, routers, firewalls, and power distribution systems into server racks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience managing network and/or cybersecurity services at an enterprise level.
• Experience with CLI administration is required, preferably with ArubaOS, ArubaCX or Comware.
• Experience with Palo Alto or other nextgen firewalls is also required.
• Ability to lift and position equipment up to 50lbs and comfort on ladders or in tight server closets is a must.
