Cerelia USA's state-of-the-art food production plant in Whitehall, Ohio is hiring for our 2nd shift. The new facility is dedicated to the retail product portfolio with a specialization in rolled dough (pizza, pie, pastry) and cookie dough. You can find our rolled doughs under our Jus-Rol brand name in major grocery retailers in your area. We are growing, and as we grow, our team members grow with us.

Our Cerelia Whitehall plant may be brand new, but the history of Cerelia goes back to 1974. The company has evolved from a France-based production company to an international leader in the chilled dough products market.

• Inspects food production equipment prior to start-up to ensure it is in working condition and free of any foreign material or damages. Documents observations on start-up and shutdown checklists on a mobile app or tablet.
• Ensures consistency on all doughs by adjusting processing equipment to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Documents lot numbers, raw dough temperatures, and fat percentages, and communicates deviations to the production supervisor.
• Performs on-line bake-offs and verifies results against quality standards.
• Reports any accidents or maintenance issues to the production supervisor.
• Follows standard food production operating procedures to operate various high-speed/high-tech processing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with machinery and partners with maintenance technicians to resolve issues.
• Calibrates processing and packaging systems as required to meet specifications.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas during production.
• Performs changeovers and end-of-run cleans, including disassembly and reassembly of necessary equipment as needed.
• Familiar with using an SAP-based barcode scanner; the system is preferred but not required and training will be provided.
• Logs downtime and maintenance issues into the CMMS system to track and trend equipment breakdowns and production issues for continuous improvement projects.
• Sanitizes machines between runs.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.

• Follows established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
• Performs quality control tests and ensures dough meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Reports issues or suggestions to the production supervisor to improve quality performance or the working environment.

• Follows company safety policies and practices to foster a safe workplace for themselves and co-workers.
• Prioritizes SAFETY while carrying out daily activities.
• Understands and follows all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Reports any unsafe acts or conditions to the immediate supervisor.
• Understands cleaning chemicals and their handling procedures.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment at all times.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle pans, ingredient containers, etc. for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights using stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
