Administrative Officer and Workplace Support Assistant

Overview

This is a unique and rewarding administrative role within the Cumberland 0–19 Admin Team, based on site in West Cumbria. The post offers a varied combination of high-quality administrative support and practical workplace assistance, supporting both service delivery and colleague wellbeing. You will provide efficient, confidential, and well-organised administrative support to the 0–19 Growing Healthy Team and the Safeguarding Team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across these essential services.

A key aspect of the role is to act as a Workplace Support Worker for a member of the admin team, offering structured, practical support to help them navigate the office environment effectively, develop workplace confidence, and access and engage with online training and learning resources. This post would suit someone who is not only highly organised and detail-focused, but also patient, supportive, and motivated by helping others succeed in the workplace.

Administrative and workplace support are provided within Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT), which cares for the population in Harrogate and the local area, as well as across North Yorkshire, Leeds and parts of the North East.
