Site Engineer

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of over 150 waste, radiation protection, delivery and environmental professionals providing support to Construction projects across the UK.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings with key personnel including the client.
• Complete hazard screening sheets from information provided by key personnel.
• Produce adequate Risk Assessments for construction tasks/projects.
• Provide advice and guidance on the production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Coordinate multiple resources.
• Provide project updates and forecast internally/externally.
• Act promptly on non-compliance issues/participate in investigations where required.
• Represent project at Stakeholder meetings.
• Coach and mentor junior members of the team, including graduates and apprentices.
• Support other team members, sharing knowledge and experience.
• Responsible for the safe delivery of specified site-based work packages.

• Ability to reach SQEP status.
• Experience in Nuclear Construction Decommissioning/Waste Management.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and flexible; willing to travel to client sites as required.
• IOSH Working Safely. CSCS NVQ level 3 OSH General/Construction desirable.
• Interpersonal skills to build and develop internal and external relationships.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.
