We have opportunities for Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeships. To work in care is to make a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. Adult Support Care Workers need to have the right values and behaviours, developing competences and skills to provide high quality compassionate care and support. They are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives which is at the heart of person‑centred care.

Training Provider: To be confirmed

Study Method: A mix of workplace learning, practical training, and independent study.

Off‑the‑Job Training: 20% of your working hours dedicated to structured learning.

Training providers will carry out eligibility checks. Some of the details you have included in your application form i.e. name; date of birth; home address; email address; telephone/mobile number and qualifications will be shared with commissioned apprenticeship training providers for the purpose of the recruitment, training and management of the apprenticeship programme.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is – Enhanced DBS Check with an Adults Barred List check.

Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults.
