This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Further Education college with a strong focus on vocational education and apprenticeships. In this role, you will work with a cohort of Plumbing apprentices, delivering a mixture of teaching, practical training, mentoring and assessment. You will use your industry experience to help learners develop their technical knowledge and practical skills, monitor their progress and support them throughout their apprenticeship.

The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified Plumber with Plumbing & Heating and Gas experience. No previous formal teaching qualification is necessarily required for the right candidate, as full training and ongoing professional development can be provided. An assessor qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plumber to step away from the tools, develop a new career in education and make a genuine difference to the next generation of Plumbing professionals.

The Role:

* Training and mentoring Plumbing apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
* Working closely with apprentices and employers to support successful completion
* Full training and ongoing professional development provided
* Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
* Some evening hours may be required, with TOIL provided
* Excellent long-term progression and internal training opportunities

The Person :
* Level 3 qualification in Plumbing & Heating
* Relevant Gas experience
* Strong industry experience within Plumbing and Heating
* Genuine passion for passing on your skills and developing the next generation
* Positive attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term career in education
