** Job Description**## Overview  We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Engineer to support cost control and project delivery across a range of projects within nuclear decommissioning market. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Sellafield projects, a strong understanding of NEC contracts, and advanced analytical and reporting skills.  ##

Your role  
* Support cost control activities across projects of varying complexity.
* Develop and maintain cost forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
* Apply NEC contract principles in cost management and change control.
* Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
* Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
* Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and Visual Basic for Applications.
* Assist in the preparation of final accounts and cost close-out processes.  ## About you  
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost engineering or project controls.
* Experience managing cost functions on projects with various complexities.
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
* Experience working on Sellafield or similar regulated projects.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA.
* Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
*** Desirable Qualifications
**** Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
* Professional membership or certification (e.g., ACostE, RICS, APM, MAPM).
