this role involves safely transporting medical professionals to patient locations during out-of-hours services, ensuring reliable access to care across the region. The postholder will complete pre‑and post‑shift vehicle checks, maintain vehicle readiness, and ensure all equipment is fully operational. Effective communication with clinicians, control room staff, and team leaders is essential to support smooth service delivery.

the driver will uphold high standards of confidentiality, data protection, and the organisation's values at all times. During visits, they will support the clinician as required, which may include assisting with equipment or acting as a chaperone. The role also requires confident operation of 4x4 vehicles in varied and sometimes challenging weather conditions to ensure patients can be reached safely.
