Start date10th September 2025 (for training and orientation) to 25th March 2026, with potential for contract renewal.
Description of RoleRosehill has been running a creative family after-school session in Woodhouse since September 2024. It has become a community where the people who attend play, create and connect with each other. Families can expect a warm welcome, a wide variety of stimulating creative activities, food and warm drinks. To watch our video, clickhere .
We need an assistant to:
- Help the artists to set up the room
- Lay out food for attendees (food hygiene instruction will be given)
- Monitor and welcome arrivals, sign them in, check whether they consent to be in photographs and offer them a hot drink
- Help keep the space safe
- Engage with participants and join in activities
- Take the lead on cleaning up and leaving the venue as we found it at the end of the session
- Doing the food shopping before the session
As this is a dynamic environment, a degree of flexibility is to be expected. This can be a physically demanding role, please ask if you have questions around the level of mobility required.
