You will be responsible for financial reporting, procurement compliance, and liaising with the Office of the Auditor General for financial audits. Moreover, the role plays a key part in enhancing financial governance and effective management of both Yukon Liquor Corporation and the Yukon Lotteries Commission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations and budgeting processes

• Manage financial reporting and compliance activities

• Coordinate annual audits with the Office of the Auditor General

• Lead evaluations to improve financial controls and processes

• Support decision-making with budget analysis and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce

• Experience with external audits and IFRS standards

• Proven skills in financial controls and compliance

• Recent experience in budget management with leadership

• Supervisory experience is an asset
