This is a regular part-time position at L10 level, requiring a strong background in nursing education and practice. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and various facility administrators to assess and implement effective nursing care delivery. You will play a crucial role in mentoring new nursing employees and preceptoring clinical nursing students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement nursing education programs
• Coordinate mentoring for new nursing staff
• Evaluate the delivery of nursing care
• Collaborate with care managers and administrative staff
• Present educational content effectively to nursing teams
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate/Diploma in Nursing required
• Active Yukon Registered Nurses Association registration
• Minimum five years clinical nursing experience
• One to two years as an educator preferred
• Current CPR and ACLS instructor certifications
Contribute to the development of nursing competencies at Whitehorse General Hospital by leveraging your education expertise.
