Cargo Agent at Air North

Become a vital part of Air North as a Cargo Agent in Whitehorse, Yukon. This role demands excellent customer service skills and physical fitness while ensuring safe cargo handling and delivery.

In this part-time position, responsible for loading cargo, you’ll ensure manifests are complete and ready for operations. You will engage with customers both in-person and on the phone, maintaining high service standards and addressing their needs.

Your role is crucial for ensuring that every shipment is planned and executed smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package and store cargo correctly

• Accept cargo and process payments accurately

• Provide in-person and phone customer service

• Calculate aircraft load and prioritize freight

• Verify and notify receivers of freight counts

Requirements:

• Excellent English communication skills

• Previous customer service experience

• Valid Driver's License required

• Must be physically fit to lift 70 pounds

• Availability for varied shifts including holidays
