our flight attendants’ primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew while on duty. This includes enforcing and following all standard operating procedures and compliance with all regulatory requirements set forth in training. Proficient operation of emergency equipment such as oxygen systems, aircraft doors, fire extinguishers, galley equipment, communication equipment and lighting systems. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage uncomfortable situations while always maintaining the utmost professionalism.
keyduties and responsibilities
- perform required work duties in an aircraft environment
- demonstrating and announcing safety briefings to passengers
- responding to and communicating any onboard information to passengers
- conduct all interactions in a positive, customer-service focused approach when helping passengers and/or communicating with fellow team members
- guide or direct (verbally or non-verbally) passengers during emergency situations (such as evacuations) to minimize impact of the event and protect passengers and crew members
- ensure passengers’ comfort and safety at all times
- grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent
- must be a canadian citizen or permit resident
- minimum 19 years of agemust be able to pass a reach test of 210 cm from flat foot
- required to possess and retain a valid passport and able to fly into the united states
- minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
- a strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
- enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
- must be a legally entitled to work in canada
- we are committed to your success, and will provide an elaborate 4-weeks, air north, training program
- you must be willing to relocate to whitehorse, yukon
- you will be required to be available for shifts scheduled 7 days a week, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, holidays, etc. With a flexible schedule to allow for the dynamic aviation industry – all subject to last minute changes

please note that the positions are only available in whitehorse. Selected candidates must be willing to relocate on their own. Relocation and training expenses are not compensated.
