Architecture Intern

Position: Architecture Intern at Stantec
Gain hands-on experience in architecture with Stantec as an intern. Work closely with experienced teams on design projects in vibrant Northern communities.

Stantec offers a unique Architecture Intern position available in Yellowknife, Iqaluit, and Whitehorse. This internship spans 4 to 12 months, giving students the chance to immerse themselves in building design while collaborating with senior architects. You will engage in diverse tasks including drawing preparation, model creation, and the use of BIM technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret sketches, drawings, and building codes

• Assist project teams in design documentation development

• Create visual design elements, including physical and electronic models

• Utilize BIM technologies for 3D building modeling

• Conduct research on materials and architectural concepts

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture

• Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, or Sketch Up

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools

• Ability to communicate design ideas effectively

• Previous experience is a plus
