June 11, 2027
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
- Experience working with youth
- Fluency in both English and French
- Post‑secondary training in educational assistant, exceptionality worker, special education assistant, or a related field would be considered an asset
- Experience working with youth with special needs would be considered an asset
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers and parents
- Adaptability to cope with a wide variety of situations
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Criminal Record/RCMP Check with Vulnerable Sector – to be provided before the first day of employment, dated no more than 3 months prior to your start date
- Standard First Aid Certificate or a willingness to complete within 3 months
- Completion of the Educational Assistant Module by the end of the school year
