Centre for Northern Innovation in Mining (CNIM)

The Yukon University Earth Sciences program is seeking sessional instructors to teach the second‑year Structural Geology course (GEOL 208) in the Fall 2026 term. The instructor(s) will be responsible for:

• Lecture instruction (3 hours per week)
• Hands‑on laboratory component (3 hours per week), including field‑based exercises in the Whitehorse area

Compensation will be a fixed stipend for the lecture section ($6250 – $7000 depending on credentials) and an hourly casual contract for laboratory instruction ($42.27 – $47.56 per hour).

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or higher credential in geoscience or a related field
• Previous experience in structural geology and post‑secondary education
