Role OverviewThe Office Administration program at Yukon University seeks experienced instructors or office administration professionals to teach a range of courses to adult learners. Courses are delivered in community, in person in Whitehorse, and online asynchronously.
Fall Semester (September to December)- ADMN 100 – Workplace Administration and Collaboration
- ADMN 101 – Office Procedures for Today’s Offices
- ACCT 120 – Introductory Accounting
- COMM 100 – Business Communications
- COMP 161 – Technology for Business
- ADMN 102 – Office Procedures for Administrative Professionals
- WP 220 – Advanced Word Processing
- ACCT 125 – Intermediate Accounting
- ACCT 130 – Practical Accounting Applications
- ACCT 300 – Computerized Accounting
- MOA 100 – Introduction to Healthcare in Canada and the North
- MOA 101 – Medical Office Procedures
- MOA 102 – Basic Physiology, Anatomy, and Pharmacology for the Medical Office Assistant
- In the process of completing or have completed a provincial instructor diploma or a M.Ed. in adult education.
- Experience instructing adults in a post-secondary education environment.
- Relevant related education and experience will also be considered.
- A combination of related education and experience is acceptable; official transcripts may be requested.
