Position: On-Call Teacher for Tantalus School
Support the learning environment at Tantalus Community School in Carmacks as an On-Call Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. Deliver lessons, manage classrooms, and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

Yukon Education is seeking a teacher on call to step in for regular teachers and education assistants at Tantalus Community School. This role focuses on implementing lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom climate, and managing student behavior. Additional duties may include supervising students during lunch and assisting with arrival and dismissal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver set lesson plans and educational activities

• Manage classroom behavior and learning environments

• Collaborate with educators for student success

• Supervise students during recess and lunch

• Participate in arrival and dismissal duties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• Experience working with children in educational settings

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent training preferred

• Valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate or in progress

• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
