The Whitehorse public schools are seeking Teacher on Calls to substitute for regular teachers or education assistants as needed. This role requires you to implement prepared lesson plans and manage students effectively, fostering a positive learning experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute lesson plans for various grade levels

• Maintain a positive classroom climate

• Supervise students during breaks and lunchtime

• Collaborate with educators for student achievement

• Assist during arrival and dismissal processes

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Experience working with children in educational settings

• Bachelor's degree in Education, preferred

• Valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress

• Must pass RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check
