Position: Yukon Educational Consultant Opportunity
Shape education in Yukon as a dedicated Educational Consultant with the Department of Education. Support K-12 schools through curriculum development and best instructional practices.

The Yukon government seeks a passionate professional for a permanent role, working 75 hours bi-weekly. In this position, you will collaborate with schools across the territory to implement policies and develop effective educational practices tailored to diverse learning environments. Your ability to incorporate First Nations cultures will enhance the educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for curriculum implementation in K-12 schools

• Coach and mentor education staff to improve instructional practices

• Collaborate with colleagues on shared educational goals

• Integrate First Nations cultures into educational resources

• Develop and refine curricular materials based on best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education

• Minimum six years in teaching or educational consulting

• Experience in training and mentoring educators

• Knowledge of rural education strategies

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence
