We're seeking an experienced Environmental Technician or Scientist, equipped with at least four years focused on contaminated site assessments and remediation efforts. You'll support investigations, monitor various environmental factors, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a balance of fieldwork and technical data analysis to contribute effectively to projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute Environmental Site Assessments per Yukon standards
• Conduct field sampling and groundwater monitoring
• Manage sample documentation and QA/QC procedures
• Analyze data for contaminant distribution insights
• Prepare technical reports for clients and regulators
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Environmental Science or similar
• Minimum of 4 years in site assessment roles
• Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations
• Proficiency in technical writing and data tools
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; ability to work outdoors
