What will you do
:
As the Project Manager, Generation Resource Planning, you will:
Lead the planning and development of long-term generation resources, primarily hydro and thermal generation, from pre-feasibility through preliminary design.Develop electricity supply plans that identify the generation and transmission resources needed to support the Yukon's future.Lead lifecycle analyses and business case development that inform investment in existing and new generation and transmission resources.Help advance new generation projects that support growth and the transition to sustainable energy solutions across the Yukon.What you need to succeed:
Degree in Engineering from an accredited university program and capable of obtaining either Engineer-in-training or Professional Engineer designation in Yukon TerritoryExperience designing infrastructure from pre-feasibility to preliminary design and/or constructing infrastructure projectsExperience leading multidisciplinary teams to execute projectsExperience using financial analysis and quantitative and qualitative information to draw conclusionsExperience in utility energy planning would be an assetAn equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be consideredWhat is in it for you:
