Position: Yukon Community Operations Supervisor Role
Lead community service initiatives in Whitehorse, YT as a Community Operations Supervisor for the Government of Yukon. Manage delivery of municipal services, solid waste disposal, and enhance local sustainability.

This permanent full-time position requires overseeing various municipal services, including solid waste and recycling in Yukon communities. You will report to the Manager of Waste & Recycling, ensuring daily operational efficiency while engaging with public and government stakeholders. The position involves strong program management skills and a commitment to community wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of solid waste facilities

• Manage program delivery and contract supervision

• Coordinate with municipalities on waste and recycling

• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations

• Solve problems and prioritize community needs

Requirements:

• Experience in contract and program management

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Knowledge of solid waste and recycling issues

• Valid Yukon class 5 driver’s license

• Willingness to travel throughout Yukon
