Term Physiotherapist

Position: Term Physiotherapist Role
Enhance rehabilitation services as a Term Full-Time Physiotherapist at Whitehorse General Hospital. Assess patients, create treatment plans, and promote optimal health outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Under the guidance of the Therapy Services Manager, this role demands expertise in physiotherapy principles and a commitment to client wellness. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams, conduct thorough assessments, and develop tailored intervention strategies for patients and clients. Training staff and students while fostering a supportive atmosphere is key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy services

• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Mentor and supervise physiotherapy support personnel

• Participate in program quality assurance initiatives

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy

• Registration or eligibility with Yukon Community Services

• Current C.P.R Level “C” certification

• Preference for clinical experience in a general setting

• Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities
