Yukon Emergency Medical Services Paramedic

Be part of the Emergency Medical Services team in Whitehorse, Yukon, as an Advanced Care Paramedic. This auxiliary on-call role requires utilizing Advanced Life Support skills to provide exceptional pre-hospital care.

As a key member of Yukon EMS, your role focuses on delivering comprehensive medical interventions across the region. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical assessments and deliver treatments to patients

• Collaborate effectively with other emergency service providers

• Attend to patients during transport, ensuring care continuity

• Assist in emergency response efforts in diverse environments

• Maintain records and document patient interactions

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Advanced Care Paramedic program

• Recent experience in pre-hospital care settings

• Valid ACP license required in Canada

• Class 4 Yukon driver’s license or equivalent mandatory

• Successful background checks prior to employment
