Who we are…

The French Language Services Directorate (FLSD) is a team of twenty-five client-focused professionals dedicated to empowering departments to serve and inform Yukoners in French. We foster strong partnerships with other departments and stakeholders and offer centralized services such as translation, language support and language policy advice.

The Bilingual Communications Division supports government employees in informing, engaging with and promoting bilingual services to the public. We provide centralized and comprehensive translation services and manage government-wide social media channels and web presence in French.

The Bilingual Communications Division seeks a self-motivated and dynamic team player who enjoys connecting with others and building positive relationships. You will support your clients in other departments to inform and engage with Yukoners in French and access our centralized services (e.g., translation). Managing your client departments’ online presence in French is also key to this role.
