Material Management Procurement Officer

Contribute to the Yukon Hospital Corporation as a Procurement Officer focusing on material management. This full-time, on-site position will be based at Whitehorse General Hospital and involves critical supply chain roles.

In this role, you will oversee procurement processes, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with accounting practices. Your ability to research products and communicate effectively will be essential as you liaise with vendors and maintain accurate documentation. The role requires strong organizational skills and the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure medical and business supplies as needed

• Manage daily inventory and procurement documentation

• Research logistics and product sourcing options

• Ensure proper financial coding for purchases

• Liaise with vendors for effective service delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 or G.E.D

• 2-3 years relevant office experience

• Experience in procurement and material management

• Certificate in procurement through SCMA desired

• Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license

Drive efficiency and accuracy in procurement processes as part of the Yukon Hospital Corporation team.
