Term Part-Time ICU Nurse

Whitehorse General Hospital is seeking a Term Part-Time ICU Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. Offer your nursing expertise in a supportive environment.
This part-time position will focus on patient treatment and advocacy, effective until September 6, 2027. Candidates should bring experience in nursing and the necessary skills to implement evidence-based practices. You will engage collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care through structured therapeutic programs

• Supervise and enhance nursing best practices

• Develop nursing care treatment and discharge plans

• Teach essential nursing skills to support team growth

• Communicate clearly and effectively with healthcare team members
Requirements:

• Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required

• At least one year of relevant nursing experience

• Registered with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association

• CPR certification is a must

• ACLS and critical care familiarity considered beneficial
