Position: LPN/RPN Providing Essential Patient Care This Summer
Join a summer healthcare team to provide critical services at Cadet Camp Whitehorse. Deliver emergency and primary health care, working part-time or full-time for a rewarding experience.
As an LPN/RPN, you will serve cadets in both walk-in and appointment scenarios. You must have at least one year of experience in patient assessment and nursing care across various age groups. Engage in assessments, perform medical interventions, and develop care plans while working in a dynamic camp setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct triage assessments during patient walk-in hours

• Develop nursing care plans and refer to physicians

• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions

• Maintain thorough documentation after each patient visit

• Clean and sterilize patient care areas and tools
Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in patient care setting

• Successful completion of Police Records Check required

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control

• Strong communication skills for patient interactions

• Ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts effectively
