Become an integral team member at Yukon Hospital Corporation as a Nursing Instructor. This role involves delivering patient care while teaching nursing students during their clinical placements.
The position is based at Yukon University Ayamdigut Campus, spanning a term from August 2026 to February 2027. As a registered nurse, you will provide hands-on nursing care and theoretical instruction in nursing best practices. Your commitment will ensure the highest quality of education and patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients
• Develop and evaluate nursing curriculum and best practices
• Instruct and mentor students during clinical placements
• Collaborate for efficient patient care and educational outcomes
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate in Nursing (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience
• Registered with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid teaching certificate or willingness to obtain one
Lead the next generation of nurses by combining your nursing expertise with teaching at Yukon University.
