This term part-time position will engage your nursing skills within the Maternity unit at Whitehorse General Hospital. As a nurse, you will provide care, implement therapeutic protocols, and foster a supportive environment for expectant mothers. Requirements include effective communication, advocacy skills, and cross-cultural sensitivity to enhance patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in maternity

• Collaborate in the planning of nursing practices

• Support and supervise nursing best practices

• Assist in nursing education for patients

• Develop care plans based on patient needs

Requirements:

• Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• At least one year of relevant nursing experience

• Registered or eligible for registration with YRNA

• Current C.P.R certification

• Critical Care or A.C.L.S. certification an asset
