Nursing Care : Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse

Position: Nursing Care Role: Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
Contribute to patient care in a part-time Nursing role in Yukon as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective nursing practices.

This part-time position at the L09 level offers an hourly wage between $49.73 and $66.42. The selected candidate will utilize knowledge of nursing procedures and mental health practices to improve patient outcomes and ensure high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care through effective treatment strategies

• Participate in the implementation of care management plans

• Facilitate team communication and best practice standards

• Directly supervise nursing activities and support staff

• Develop and teach relevant nursing skills and protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required

• At least one year of clinical nursing experience

• Registered with or eligible for Yukon Registered Nurses Association

• Basic computer skills for healthcare documentation

• Current C.P.R certification
