Position: Part-Time Nurse for Specialized Clinic Care
Provide specialized nursing care at the Visiting Specialist Clinic, Whitehorse General Hospital, in a part-time role. Support clients with comprehensive health monitoring and management strategies.

This term position (0.75 FTE) is available from July 6, 2026, to March 31, 2027, at L09 level. You will report to the Manager of the Ambulatory Care Program, collaborating with specialists to deliver tailored assessments and ongoing care for clients with complex health issues. Strong advocacy skills are especially needed for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care directly to clinic patients

• Collaborate effectively with specialists for integrated care delivery

• Assess client health status and develop suitable care plans

• Educate clients on health management and disease prevention

• Ensure consistent follow-up support for ongoing patient care

Requirements:

• Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• Registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA)

• Current C.P.R certification required

• ACLS certification needed

• Experience with chronic disease management preferred
