Yukon Hospitals is seeking a Critical Care Charge Nurse for a term full-time role starting August 1, 2026. The successful candidate will leverage comprehensive emergency nursing knowledge, providing leadership and ensuring best practices in fast-paced situations. This role encompasses managing patient care and mentoring nursing staff while maintaining optimal emergency department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and implement therapeutic programs for patients

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing teams

• Analyze complex clinical situations and manage conflicts

• Ensure efficient patient flow and resource utilization

Requirements:

• Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing

• Current registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association

• Minimum three years of emergency department experience

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

• Post-graduate emergency nursing certifications a strong asset
