Registered Nurse

This posting will be used to fill 2 full-time Permanent positions working 75 hours bi-weekly. A12-month eligibility list will be established to fill similar positions.

Term and Auxiliary-On-Call (AOC) career opportunities will also be considered.

Annual salary of $107,554 - $124,747 + Pension + Benefits + $7,500 Signing Bonus + Annual reimbursement for RN registration fees

WCC nurses provide primary health care, chronic disease management, addiction medicine support, mental health assessments, and emergency response within a correctional setting. The position requires sound clinical judgment, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to respond confidently in fast-paced and unpredictable situations. We provide comprehensive nursing care within a multidisciplinary correctional healthcare team.

You will work with clients presenting a wide range of health needs, including:

• Acute and chronic medical conditions
• Mental health concerns
• Addictions and substance use disorders
• Emergency and urgent care needs

This role is best suited for nurses who are comfortable working independently, confident making clinical decisions, and motivated by meaningful and challenging work.
