This posting will be used to fill 1 (one) permanent full-time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly. This posting will be used to establish a 12-month eligibility list which could be used to fill anticipatory permanent vacancies within the Continuing Care branch.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon .

This opportunity

Are you a registered nurse who is passionate about education, mentorship, and advancing excellence in home and community-based health care?

As a Clinical Educator – Home Care with the Quality and Safety branch, you will lead the planning, development implementation, and evaluation of educational programs, training initiatives, and professional development opportunities for regulated and non-regulated health care professionals within the Yukon Homecare Program. Working closely with clinicians and leadership you will help ensure clinical practice is aligned with professional standards, evidence-informed best practices, and divisional priorities.

Through education, mentorship, and clinical coaching, you will support staff competency development and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality, client-centered home care services.

This role requires a dynamic, organized individual with strong clinical and teaching skills to enhance service delivery and build capacity within nursing and home support teams, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment focused on professional development and shared success. This position will work collaboratively across Continuing Care and although dedicated to the Home Care program, at times may assist with other areas in the division.
