Healthcare Security Team Lead

Lead the Healthcare Security team at Whitehorse General Hospital. This full-time position focuses on enhancing security protocols, supporting patients, and ensuring a safe environment.

As the Healthcare Security Team Lead, you will coordinate daily operations of the Healthcare Security Officer Program, providing supervision and training while advancing program initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting in incident investigations, implementing process improvements, and offering support for the YHC's personal safety response system. Your leadership will significantly contribute to a safer community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of security team

• Train Healthcare Security Officers on safety protocols

• Support incident investigations involving program staff

• Implement process improvements for efficiency

• Maintain administrative functions of security program

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience

• Standard First Aid with Level C CPR/AED certification

• Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver’s License

• Secondary school diploma or GED required

• Clean criminal record check, including vulnerable sector
