As a Cultural Coordinator, you will honor your cultural expertise by working closely with children-in-care and their families. Your focus will be on delivering culturally appropriate services while advocating for a strong sense of identity. This role includes connecting youth to their cultural traditions through activities and community relationships, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and connect youth with cultural ceremonies

• Improve service delivery for children in care

• Coordinate inter-generational cultural gatherings

• Provide internal support to the FWB Team

• Organize cultural events and participation opportunities

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in Social Work or similar

• Background working with children or families

• Skills in facilitation and community outreach

• In-depth knowledge of Anishinabek traditions

• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
