Seasonal Aircraft Refueler

Wage: $24.50

Hours of Work: Seasonal Full-Time (35-40 hours per week) April-September

Location: Whitehorse, Yukon

The incumbent is responsible for providing safe, quality and on-time fueling services to Air North for Air North, Yukon’s Airline and customers.

• Quality Control inspection and testing of refueling trucks, and jet fuel
• Operate airside fuel trucks and fuel pumping systems to receive, transfer, dispense, and handle jet fuel into tanks, trucks, planes, helicopters, drums, and airside equipment
• Fuel aircraft in proper sequence to ensure on-time departures
• Receive fuel deliveries and perform all quality control tests on all fuel truck and tank farm products
• Pre-trip inspections of equipment prior to use, and post trip inspections of equipment after use

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in aviation fueling is considered an asset
• Class 1, 2 or 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
• A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
• Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
• Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

• Previous experience in aviation fueling is considered an asset
