Dispatcher Routes

Take the lead as a Dispatcher at Manitoulin Transport, overseeing Whitehorse and rural service areas. Your expertise in load planning and driver supervision is key to our operational success.

In this dynamic role, you will coordinate pickups and deliveries, maintaining smooth operations every day. Your responsibilities include supervising City Drivers, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing system tasks within AS/400. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can handle the pressures of dispatching while promoting a safety-minded culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate terminal pickups and deliveries

• Supervise City Drivers and delegate tasks

• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers

• Execute scheduling and track shipments in AS/400

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Solid geographical knowledge of Whitehorse areas

• Previous dispatch experience in an LTL environment

• Expertise in LTL load and route planning

• Proficient with AS/400 systems and handheld devices

• Strong multitasking abilities under pressure
