Overview

We are TC Group, a leading accountancy firm in the UK, looking for a Practice Support Manager to join our central compliance team in Whiteley, Fareham. The role delivers high‑quality administrative and operational support to the Compliance team, coordinating key compliance and regulatory processes. It is a hands‑on support position for an individual who is highly organised, systems‑mindful, and comfortable working across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support ICAEW regulatory processes, including submissions, notifications, approvals, and annual return processes.
  • Track regulatory deadlines and information requests, ensuring timely follow‑up and accurate submission.
  • Provide administrative and compliance support on M&A transactions.
  • Track information requests and responses related to M&A activity.
  • Maintain compliance and transaction logs related to M&A activity.
  • Maintain standard Letters of Engagement (LoE) templates and ensure firm‑wide consistency.
  • Maintain compliance registers, trackers, and planners.
  • Review, improve, and embed consistent administrative and compliance processes across the group, supporting central initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operational support role within a professional environment (ideally in a regulated or professional services firm).
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working with systems, data, and documentation.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow processes through to completion.
  • Practical, process‑driven and comfortable following up and enforcing standards.
  • Clear and concise communicator who is trustworthy and discreet.
  • Curious and improvement‑focused, with an interest in streamlining processes and working smarter.
