The Role

We're looking for an Infrastructure Refresh Change Coordinator to join our Refresh team and play an important role in refreshing the systems and infrastructure that underpin the UK's Military Air Traffic Management capability.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to nationally important work, helping ensure military air traffic control services continue to evolve in response to future operational demands. You'll help develop and coordinate infrastructure improvements that maintain resilience, enhance capability and support the long-term needs of our military aviation customers.

Working across Engineering, Customer Solutions, Service Delivery, Asset Management, Commercial, Finance and Procurement, you'll bring together people, information and priorities to support turning ideas into robust investment proposals and approved programmes of work.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating infrastructure refresh initiatives from initial concept through feasibility, option analysis, scope definition and governance approval.

  • Supporting the development of business cases, governance submissions and investment proposals that enable confident decision-making.

  • Maintaining a clear view of priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets and decisions across the Refresh portfolio.

  • Bringing together technical specialists, operational stakeholders and business functions to build alignment and move initiatives forward.

  • Ensuring approved refresh activity is clearly defined and ready for a successful transition into project delivery.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve Refresh planning, governance, reporting and ways of working.

This is a hands on role where you’ll contribute to meaningful work and play a part in helping the organisation achieve its objectives.

You’re an Infrastructure Refresh Change professional who contributes positively to your team and the wider organisation.   • Experience in engaging confidently with technical specialists, operational stakeholders and senior leaders, and you know how to translate complex information into clear plans and recommendations.

  • The ability to contribute to critical national aviation systems and to deliver outcomes with a tangible operational impact.

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria

  • Experience coordinating complex activities involving multiple stakeholders, teams or functions.

  • Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to maintain oversight of multiple work streams.

  • The ability to analyse information and produce clear reports, recommendations and decision-support material.

  • Experience supporting project, change, engineering, operational or governance activities.

  • Commercial and financial awareness, including an understanding of budgets, forecasting and affordability.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
