A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially focused FP&A & Strategic Finance Lead to join a high-growth organisation operating within the aerospace sector.
Working directly with the CFO, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic decision‑making across the organisation. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape and build a best-in‑class FP&A function.
The OpportunityYou will lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities while providing meaningful insight to support commercial and operational decision‑making. As a key finance business partner, you will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain and commercial teams to support growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and enjoys building processes, driving change and influencing strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and improve FP&A processes, reporting and systems
- Own KPI reporting, variance analysis and performance insights
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital planning
- Support strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Partner with senior leaders to drive commercial decision‑making
- Prepare board and investor reporting packs
- Support fundraising, due diligence and investor requests
- Drive automation and process improvement across finance
- Establish finance as a trusted business partner across the organisation
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience with in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance or a related analytical environment
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Background within a high‑growth technology, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or innovative sector
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a scaling or fast‑growth business
- Confident managing complex data and translating it into actionable insights
- Proactive, curious and highly motivated with a hands‑on approach
- Direct partnership with the CFO and leadership team
- High level of visibility and influence across the business
