Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Electromechanical Build)
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire
Pay: c £14.90 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Temp-to-permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Summary
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Whiteley. This is a hands-on role building small electromechanical and microfluidic components in a regulated medical device environment. The role would suit someone practical, reliable, and detail-focused who can follow SOPs, use hand tools confidently, and accurately record their work.

Key Duties

  • Assemble small electromechanical and precision components using hand tools
  • Follow SOPs and detailed work instructions at all times
  • Carry out accurate, repeatable builds to quality standards
  • Complete job sheets and production trackers correctly
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and controlled work area
  • Report any quality, equipment, or process issues
  • Clean and maintain equipment before use
  • Support prototype builds and basic testing when required
  • Assist with documentation and process improvements

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or medical device environments
  • Comfortable building from instructions and following SOPs
  • Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Confident using hand tools for accurate assembly
  • Able to document work clearly and accurately
  • Basic IT and numeracy skills
  • Experience working in regulated or controlled environments is desirable
  • Wiring, crimping, cable assembly, or soldering experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

This role is ideal for an electromechanical build technician who can reliably build to specification, work methodically, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
