Software Engineer – Temp

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software based on system and subsystem requirements.
• Contribute to distributed, mission‑critical ATM systems.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, implementation, and testing.
• Perform development and integration activities, testing and validation.
• Manage and resolve software anomalies and defects.
• Apply AI‑assisted tools to improve development productivity, code quality and maintainability, and automation across the lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or similar).
• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• High level of English (written and spoken).
• Spanish speaker (desirable).
• Strong experience in C, C++ and/or ADA.
• Experience with Python scripting is a plus.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Version control (Git or Clear Case), issue tracking (JIRA), requirements management (DOORS).
• Understanding of end‑to‑end software lifecycle (design, coding, testing, integration).
• Experience or strong interest in using AI‑powered development tools.

Demonstrates expertise in software design and development, particularly in C/C++ and ADA, while ensuring traceability and quality throughout the software lifecycle. Proficient in utilizing AI‑assisted tools to enhance development productivity and code maintainability.
