POSITION: SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
CLASSIFICATION CODE: EXEMPT FULL TIME

REPORTS TO: CLINICAL DIRECTOR
STATEMENT OF JOB:
The School Enrichment Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical supervision to behavioral health professionals, technicians, and paraprofessionals in assessment, appropriate level of care recommendations, and treatment interventions. In collaboration with the School Enrichment Program Manager, this role implements direct care services and oversees various service settings, ensuring compliance with program contracts and requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing outpatient service needs, establishing clinical policies, and managing outpatient programs for children, adolescents, and families within the White Mountain Apache Tribe under Apache Behavioral Health Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide ongoing clinical supervision, review clinical skills, coach staff, identify improvement areas, and recommend remediation in consultation with the Clinical Director.Ensure staff compliance with clinical training and supervision requirements.Assess professional capabilities of behavioral health staff to deliver services and conduct performance evaluations per ABHS standards.Review and sign clinical documents in accordance with licensure, legal, and funding requirements.Assist in de-escalation of client contacts requiring supervisory intervention.Provide direct clinical services as needed to maintain service levels during high demand or staffing shortages.Coordinate with program leadership on policy and program changes and assist in implementing new programs.Manage communication with internal and external partners relevant to the program.Recommend modifications to program design to support innovations in mental health services.Collaborate with Billing and Quality Management Departments to ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and legal requirements.Work with court, tribal, community agencies, families, and other supports to meet client needs and develop strong relationships with school staff.Address diverse emotional, social, and spiritual needs using trauma-informed care, maintaining professionalism and cultural awareness.Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of ABHS, the White Mountain Apache Tribe, IHS, AHCCCS, and other authorities.Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation in accordance with HIPAA, AHCCCS, and other regulations.Uphold ethical policies and discipline-specific codes of ethics.Model positive leadership and treat clients and staff with dignity and respect.Participate in required training and maintain punctuality and communication with supervisors.Perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology, with a valid Arizona license.Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including background checks.Minimum five years of mental health service experience, including at least one year in clinical supervision.Strong knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, and interventions across settings.Excellent communication and facilitation skills.Effective interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Preferred Qualifications:At least three years’ experience working with Native Americans.Experience with crisis intervention and treating co-occurring disorders.Note: Preference is given to qualified Indian candidates per the Indian Preference Act.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Physical requirements include constant standing and frequent use of hands, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, reaching, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Management reserves the right to assign duties as needed. Employment is at-will, terminable at any time by either party.
