The Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department is seeking part‑time and full‑time Emergency Physicians to join our collegial and well‑supported team.

We maintain strong relationships with all specialty and hospitalist groups, creating a positive working environment.

The ED has over 55,000 visits annually and is projected to increase to 70,000 by 2030 owing to rapid population growth in the White Rock/South Surrey area. We have 24/7 access to CT, ultrasound and MRI, and excellent local and regional subspecialty support.

Remuneration is fee‑for‑service, which is competitive given our high patient flow.

Applicants must be certified in Emergency Medicine (CCFP‑EM or FRCPC) and eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is a 188‑bed hospital offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric, telemetry services, and 24/7 emergency services.

PAH recently completed an expansion that quadrupled the size of the department, added five upgraded peri‑operative suites, and created a new medical device reprocessing department. The new ED features 55 single‑patient treatment spaces, a child and family‑friendly area, and a dedicated mental‑health and substance‑use waiting space. Technology upgrades include advanced airway equipment and a C‑arm for fracture reduction.
