Position: Senior Biology Teacher Role
Step into a meaningful teaching role at White Rock Christian Academy as a Senior Biology and Science Teacher. The maternity leave position begins on November 1, 2026, focusing on important coursework for high school students.

This full-time role provides the chance to empower students in Science 10, IB Biology 11, and IB Biology 12. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a collaborative spirit and passion for fostering inquiry-driven education. Training in the International Baccalaureate will be available to those selected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science 10, IB Biology 11 and IB Biology 12

• Promote collaborative learning and student inquiry

• Develop creative lesson plans suited to student needs

• Evaluate student performance and growth

• Participate actively in school community initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

• Experience in teaching Biology and Science curriculum

• Dedication to a Christian educational environment

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Readiness to undertake IB training if needed
